Video

Beaver News #57 – August 14, 2017

You dream it ….. we make it.

Can you believe it, it’s already the middle of August, where did the year go?

Today we show you a tutorial on how to punch holes into leather the right way.

You might be saying to yourself “I don’t do leather work, why would I need to know this?”

Well, we create these videos also to show that our products are really all hand made. We take great pride in our workmanship and we like to show you a little bit of behind the scene. Maybe you appreciate your product just a little more because of it. 🙂

Ok, let’s get to it:

First Step, Mark imprints a stitching line and then he uses the stitching wheel that makes marks in the leather where the holes need to be punched.

If you don’t have a stitching wheel he shows you another way on how to make these indications into the leather.

As a second Step Mark shows you how to punch the holes and especially how to do it the right way.
